Soitinhuolto originates back to TV-Sävel Music Shop and the year 2011. Working in a music shop meant doing a thousand basic setups per year, for five years.
In the spring of 2017, we became a part of the Torvinen Showtekniikka Group, where we operated for seven years under the name Showtekniikka Soitinhuolto. Starting from summer 2024 we will operate as an independent company.
Ikata Luthier School and the internship at Lottonen Guitars have provided a great deal more expertise. On this basis, it is safe to say that an instrument is rarely unrepairable. Either a solution exists, or one can be figured out. We look forward to taking on new challenges.
We provide warranty service and repairs for several distributors such as EM Nordic, Musamaailma and Studiotec.

Luthier
Instrument maintenance begun at TV-Sävel, where Timo Knuuttila taught his 40 years of expertise. After that, I learned the trade on my own until I finally applied for luthier studies in Ikaalinen. I graduated as an artisan from Ikata in 2024. I did my internship at Lottonen Guitars, the leading guitar repair shop in Finland.
Musician
Playing the violin the age of five was how I started, and picked up the guitar as a teenager. I have been singing since I was a child. Groups worth mentioning include Helion, Hämeenlinnan Kaupunginorkesteri, Hämeenlinnan Teatteri, Jaskan Näköinen Mies, Jock's Trap, Monkey Business, Pain Confessor, Perfect Gentlemen, To/Die/For and Turisas.
Backliner
Since 2005 I have been doing backliner tech gigs and sound related work. HS-Visiot was my first six-month work experience, followed by another half a year in studio Sound Supreme. I worked at Backline Rental in the summer of 2019. Employers at gigs have been Tuure Kilpeläinen & Kaihon Karavaani, Jenni Vartiainen and Torvinen Showtekniikka.
